Mace Dental is a start-up dentist office for new graduate dentists from WVU. We imagined their practice on Day 1 and years down the road. Each decision was patient centered and dentist approved. The project was delivered in a fast track, multiple bid package design-build contract model with a total project duration of 7 months from design concept to first patient.

The two story building features a two story lobby, 4 treatment rooms on the first floor and 3 exam rooms, one oral surgery suite, and 5 future hygiene areas on the Second Floor.
Custom Dental cabinetry allowed the dentists to blend features of the best of multiple vendor provided equipment solutions they used during their years at WVU. The site provided excellent views and visibility to a busy thoroughfare where floor-to-ceiling glass with modern sunshades presented inviting, light-filled exam rooms to passersby.

This project was chosen for the 2015 AIA West Virginia Merit Award– Achievement in Design.
