Omni Associates—Architects was selected by WVU Athletics to provide full architectural, engineering and interior design services for the renovation of the former Natatorium at the WVU Coliseum Complex. The old pool and diving well have been removed and filled in to form the base for the new Athletic Performance Center.

The 61,000 SF facility will house strength & conditioning, as well as athletic training, rehabilitation and nutrition centers for all of the University’s Olympic sports programs.
The Athletic Performance Center will also include locker rooms, hydrotherapy and cryotherapy centers and is large enough to allow multiple teams to utilize the facility at one time.

Funding for the project was made available through generous donations to the Mountaineer Athletic Club and WVU Athletics “Climbing Higher” campaign.
